Susanne Salz – Founder
Susanne holds a Master of Science in International Relations from the London School of Economics, as well a Bachelor in International Relations with French from the University of Sussex including an ERASMUS year at Sciences Po Paris. She worked as Head of the Secretary General’s Office at ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability, which also meant being the voice for cities (or in UN speak the “Local Authority Major Group Organising Partner”) for the UN Rio+20 Conference on Sustainable Development in June 2012. Further professional experience includes being a Project Manager at the non-profit ‘Think and Do Tank’ Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production as well as working for the OECD and for UN Volunteers. Susanne is a member of the Global Diplomacy Lab and an alumnus of the Global Governances Futures program. All these experiences have contributed to developing and shaping the United Actors. Other than thinking about how to make the world a better place, Susanne also enjoys rowing and competes in 100km rowing races on the Rhine.
Simon Broich – Designer
During his studies at ecosign/ Akademie für Gestaltung. Simon specialized in the creation of meaningful Brands for Companies and Organisations especially from the field of sustainable development. He finished his studies with a diploma in Sustainable Design.
His complementary work encompasses the brand development for the Best Practice Price Foundation as well as the development of digital touchpoints.
During his studies he supported the Design Team at the Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production where he helped companies to visualise their goals in sustainable consumption and production.
Simon works as a freelance designer in the range from branding to user experience design. He supports clients in developing meaningful brands and designs easy to use digital interfaces.
Numerous individuals have helped get us where we are today. They have all contributed on a voluntary basis because they believe in the United Actors.
